SAL Post 194 won an award at the State Summer Conference, which was held in Huron, Ohio in May of 2008, for Americanism. This is the second year in a row that SAL Post 194 has won this award. This award is given out to the post with the most logged man-hours in service to the various activities of the SAL. This award is due in large part to the participation that the Sons give to the Color Guard. A big hat's off Tim Hackman, our Sergeant At Arms who does a fantastic job of training and organizing our Color Guard. Also, a hearty "thank you" to Pat Shea who takes care of all the paperwork and submits it to the proper authorities so that our post is recognized for it's service.
